Privacy Policy
This site is deliberately quiet. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. This policy explains the small amount of information that is involved anyway, and what we do with it.
Last updated: July 14, 2026
1. Who operates this site
This site, asmaa.dev, is operated by BLKPVNTHR LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), the personal and professional site of Asmaa Abdul-Amin.
For any privacy question or request, email blkpvnthr@asmaa.dev. Email is the only contact channel for privacy and legal matters.
2. The short version
- No cookies. This site sets none.
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, PostHog, or anything like them.
- No advertising or social tracking pixels. No Meta, LinkedIn, or X pixels. No session replay or heatmaps.
- No consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
- The only personal information we receive is what you choose to type into the contact form.
3. Information you give us
The contact form on the home page collects three things: your name, your email address, and your message. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press submit.
When you submit the form, it is sent to Formspree, a third-party form processor, which handles the submission on our behalf so that the message reaches us. Formspree processes the information under its own terms and privacy practices.
We use what you send for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list.
4. Information collected automatically
Very little, and none of it by us on purpose. To be precise and honest about how the web actually works:
- Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, it necessarily processes request metadata such as your IP address in the course of delivering the pages to you.
- CDN. The site loads the Bootstrap stylesheet and script from cdn.jsdelivr.net. Requesting a file from a CDN necessarily discloses your IP address and browser user agent to that CDN’s operator. jsDelivr sets no cookies.
- The embedded BLKPVNTHR.OS demo. The home page embeds the live BLKPVNTHR.OS application in a frame so you can try it. When that frame loads, your browser makes a request to os.blkpvnthr.com, which discloses your IP address and user agent to it, and the embedded application may store data in your browser under its own origin (for example, to remember that you have already seen its intro). BLKPVNTHR.OS is a separate service with its own terms and privacy disclosures; this policy does not govern your use of it. The frame is loaded lazily, so it is not requested until you scroll to it.
We do not run analytics, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not track you across other websites.
5. Cookies and browser storage
asmaa.dev itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser’s local storage or session storage. The only script it runs is a small file that opens and closes the mobile menu, marks the current nav item, and writes the year in the footer.
The one exception is the embedded BLKPVNTHR.OS demo described above: that application runs in its own frame, under its own origin, and may write to your browser’s storage for its own purposes. That storage belongs to os.blkpvnthr.com, not to this site, and we cannot read it.
There is still no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking anywhere on this site, so there is nothing of that kind to ask you to consent to and there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested before any such technology loads.
6. Sensitive information — please do not send it
Do not send passwords, API keys, bank or brokerage credentials, account numbers, Social Security numbers, confidential or proprietary employer information, or other highly sensitive personal data through this site.
The contact form is ordinary email-grade correspondence. It is not a secure channel for that kind of material. If you send it anyway, we may delete it.
7. Links to other sites, and BLKPVNTHR.OS
This site links out to other places — code repositories, professional profiles, university and employer pages, maps, and hosted media. Those links are not loaded into this site; you reach them only if you click. Once you do, you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy practices, and this policy no longer applies.
That includes BLKPVNTHR.OS (os.blkpvnthr.com). BLKPVNTHR.OS is a separate software service, operated as a distinct product, and may be governed by its own terms and privacy disclosures. This policy does not cover your visit to or use of it.
8. Retention
Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up that comes out of it.
9. Your choices and requests
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email blkpvnthr@asmaa.dev and tell us what you want.
We will respond as required by applicable law. In practice, the only information we are likely to hold about you is a message you sent us and the email address you sent it from.
10. Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, email blkpvnthr@asmaa.dev and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if the site’s technical behavior changes. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy, or about anything on this page, go to blkpvnthr@asmaa.dev.
