3. Paper trading first
BLKPVNTHR.OS is paper-first. Research and paper-trading validation come first, and live orders are disabled until a strategy has cleared that bar. Execution is kept separate from analysis.
A strategy is only certified for live trading after it consistently clears the platform’s paper-trading threshold. Enabling live trading is a deliberate step taken by the user, with their own brokerage credentials, at their own risk — and clearing an internal threshold is not a recommendation, a prediction, or any assurance of future results.
4. Figures shown are illustrative
Any numbers, balances, positions, P&L, equity curves, or metrics visible in screenshots on this site or in the product's demo state are the product's own demo and seed data.
They are:
- not the real finances of any person;
- not a track record;
- not a representation of results that any person achieved or could achieve.
5. Hypothetical and simulated results have real limits
Simulated, backtested, and paper-traded results are limited in ways that are easy to underestimate. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight. They do not involve real financial risk, and no simulated account bears the pressure of a real one. They cannot fully account for the effect of real market conditions, transaction costs, slippage, or liquidity.
Simulated or paper performance is not indicative of future results. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
6. Research is research
The Quantitative Research Division and its laboratories exist to test ideas and to try to break them. A hypothesis that survives a validation stage is still a hypothesis. It is not a recommendation, and it is not a signal to act on.
The division’s own stated posture is research first: a candidate is validated in paper before it is certified for anything else.
7. Financial data is read-only
Bank connections in BLKPVNTHR.OS are made through Plaid. The application never sees your bank credentials, and the Plaid secret stays server-side. The scope is balances only: no transfers, no trading.
8. No outcome is guaranteed
Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Markets can move against any position, and any model can be wrong.
